For 4th and 5th graders, attending a Louisville Orchestra MakingMusic concert is often an eye-opening experience. It’s even better when youngsters hold a violin - donated by the ALO for the LO instrument playground - in their own small hands and pluck the strings alongside one of the orchestra musicians that they later see on stage. The ALO Hospitality committee serve luncheons for orchestra musicians during these back-to-back concerts.
