Sundowner Cocktail Reception and Dinner at the Zoo

Enjoy a magical, special, “behind-the-scenes” evening at the Louisville Zoo. As the sun sets on the Zoo’s African savanna, you will sip on cocktails and experience a private encounter at the Gorilla Forest Overlook, which is a short walk from the African Outpost deck. Seating will be provided for those who need it. Your twilight reception continues after this special encounter on the Outpost deck with cocktails, a heavy appetizer station, a small animal presentation, and a special welcome and remarks from the new Zoo Director, Dan Maloney.

Once the sun sets, you will enter the air-conditioned African Outpost and join the Zoo’s Director for a buffet dinner and dessert. Attendance is limited so don’t miss this exclusive experience!
